Baby Elephant 'Custom' Wall Art Print

New to the SHOP!  Custom nursery wall art.  This print will be customized for you, printed and posted out to you flat ready for framing.
If you are looking for a unique personalised gift for new parents, christening, welcome or birthday keepsake this would be the perfect addition to any nursery or childs room...what do you think?

All of my wall art prints will be designed to to fit any standard 8" x 10" frame, however I personally think they look better with a matt board around them and then framed.  The frame I used with this print {and all the other prints I will be displaying} is from Big W and cost under $15!  The frame size is 11" x 14" and it came with a matt board to suit photo size 8" x 10".

Dive in! Alan's 70th Birthday Cake

This cake was made for a man who loves to swim...celebrating his 70th birthday with a family get together and this 8inch fruit cake, I kept this design quite simple as I didn't have much to go on, only that he liked to swim....but I did think of tons of other pool designs as I was making this one!

I made a little icing ladder and hand painted it silver with edible lustre dust

I splashed on some leaf glaze to make the fondant towel look wet in places, it doesn't show up that good in this photo but you get the idea :)

Happy Birthday Alan,
 I hope you enjoyed your cake!

Safari Cupcake Tower {David's 50th Birthday}

Over the weekend we celebrated my brother-in-law's 50th birthday. We decided to go with a cupcake tower so we didn't have to fuss over cutting it up and serving it around.  He enjoys hunting so the safari theme was perfect.

The cupcake toppers are fondant icing cut out with a round cutter, I then hand painted on the designs with food colouring. These cupcakes are chocolate mud and I also did some butter cakes topped with a few reeds of grass.

The cutting cake is chocolate mud, covered in fondant tinted 2 parts yellow and 1 part brown {incase your wondering} finished off with rope trim, I used moss green florist tape to trim the board for this one as it went perfectly with the grass.

The animal toppers are store bought ones:)  but I thought were perfect!

{The lighting was not so good for photos of the finished product, but I thought you would still like to see it}
We delivered and set this one up on a clear five tier acrylic stand at QLD Gun Exchange in east Brisbane.  We then stayed on and had a fantastic night out...
Happy Birthday David!

Little Dump Trucks First Birthday Cake {Cooper}

Here is a bright and cheery first birthday cake I made over the weekend for Cooper.  He is a fan of dump trucks like many little boys I know!

I made three 2D trucks to zoom around the cake on the road, which is a thin layer of grey fondant icing and the line markings are white fondant icing.  Inside this one is my personal favourite...butter cake.

I love the orange on blue, the icing clouds and dump trucks will be available to buy in my online shop {edibles posted within Australia} which I plan to open on Monday the 21st of March...this day will also be the first anniversary for Top That!

My friend delivered this one safely to Toowoomba on Saturday...Thanks Deanne:)

Cherry Blossom Wedding Cake

This three tiered wedding cake was iced during yet another rainy day!  Despite this I was really happy with the end results. Inside this one is chocolate mud cake on the top and bottom and butter cake in the middle.

The blossoms were soft pink fondant and the centres were dusted with rose petal dust with mini white pearl centres, the branches are made from chocolate fondant.  White satin ribbon trims the base of each cake.
If you decorate cakes aswell and have trouble with humidity try using a reading lamp over your work space while your making your sugar flowers I find it helps make things less sticky!

This one was delivered to Stacey's at the Gap on  an overcast Saturday afternoon, I hope the rain held off for the ceremony...they do say it is good luck if it rains on your wedding day! I just can't work out who for??

The couple had two oriental cake toppers which they bought back from a trip to China, these were placed on the top tier but of course I didn't take my camera so I have no photos for you... but they looked really good and finished off the cake perfectly.

Congratulations Brett and Caitlin.
